I think that if I received this as a present, I would probably destroy it the very first morning.
Getting up in the morning is hard but getting up to play hide and seek with a stupid alarm clock is not something I'm prepared to do. 
That's an alarm clock?! It looks more like a merkin holder!

There's also the ones that are like a jigsaw and shoot something across the room and it won't shut up until you reattach the missing piece.
Ah.. maybe everyone already has a NORMAL alarm clock
